Arriving in Holland

Upon receipt of full payment of your tuition fees, we will finalise your admittance and notify you of this decision.

Then you will be able to start preparing your trip in earnest so you will arrive in Holland well before your study takes off.

You will arrive in week 34 (August 18th through 22nd), preferrably on Monday through Thursday, where you will be picked up by one of our employees who will show you around a bit and answer any questions you might have.

Transport

You have to arrange for transport from the airport to Van Hall Larenstein yourself. Chinese students studying in Velp will be collected from the airport by one of our Chinese students. Naturally you can always contact us how to arrange for your transport!

Introduction week

Depending on the location you will be studying, you will be obliged to partake in an introduction week, in which you will be able to make the acquaintance of your fellow students and get to know the university and city.

Wageningen

The introduction week at Wageningen is together with the WUR. International bachelor students have their own groups, but join in the general introduction programme.

There is one obligatory day, where you will be shown around Van Hall Larenstein and become familiar with the facilities, etc.

Costs: EUR 65.

Velp

Participation in the introduction week is voluntary, but strongly advised. You will sleep in tents on the university grounds.

Costs: EUR 65.

Leeuwarden

Participation in the introduction week is voluntary. The introduction is not specifically aimed at international students and is in Dutch.

Costs: EUR 65.
