Lifelong Learning
The Lifelong Learning programme of the European Commission is meant to encourage cooperation among the higher education institutions of Europe. A large amount of money is earmarked for supporting students who wish to complete part of their studies in another country of Europe. A scholarship covers a period of three to twelve months; the level of the grants differs considerably according to the length of the study period, the destination and your home country. Your own institution must have a bilateral agreement with an institution in the Netherlands before your study period abroad starts.
