Housing in the Netherlands
There are various solutions for housing during your study, depending on your study city of choice.
Leeuwarden
On the Short Stay Solutions website you can find information about housing in Leeuwarden. Please go to "Guests of Van Hall Larenstein Leeuwarden".
Please read the "Instruction Van Hall" carefully. After this, you can register as described in the instruction. Via 'I'm a tenant / our accommodations' you can find general information about Short Stay accommodation in Leeuwarden. Please note that Van Hall Larenstein has reserved rooms for their students at the address Kanaalstraat only!

Velp
Van Hall Larenstein will arrange housing for all international students. Housing will be arranged in collaboration with "Stichting Studenthuisvesting" unless you specifically instruct us not to arrange a room. Rooms issued are subject to availability. The rent agreement is signed between the student and "Stichting Studenthuisvesting". Van Hall Larenstein only facilitates in the initial acquiring of a room.

Wageningen
Non-European students
Van Hall Larenstein will arrange a furnished room for all Non-European students. When you apply for a study at Van Hall Larenstein we will automatically arrange a furnished room for you unless you send an e-mail to infopoint.wageningen@wur.nl and state that you want to arrange a room by yourself.
Please note that Van Hall Larenstein is only facilitating. You will have an agreement/contract with Idealis. Before taking your room you will have to pay a fee of max. €132, depending on the room that is offered to you. The fee will cover cleaning after you leave the room and includes a set of bed linen.
European (EEA) students
We can arrange a furnished room for European students with Idealis, Student Housing Wageningen. We will not automatically arrange a furnished room for you when you apply for a study at Van Hall Larenstein. Please click here to fill in the application form if you want us to arrange a furnished room for you.
Please note that Van Hall Larenstein is only facilitating. You will have an agreement/contract with Idealis. We can only arrange a furnishedroom for you after you have paid the tuition fee. Before taking your room you will have to pay a fee of max. €132, depending on the room that is offered to you. The fee will cover cleaning after you leave the room and includes a set of bed linen.
We advise you to:
- apply for a furnished room as early as possible because rooms are limited in Wageningen, preferably before June 1.
- try to also find a room in Wageningen in the private sector. For more information on this see below.
Price indication for a room is 260 -330 euro.
